Merry and bright holiday greetings to all! I pray you are entering this special season with joyful expectations–and if not, that your hope will be renewed and refreshed. I would love for this blog to become a space where you can find encouragement and uplifting content that directs your focus to the Prince of Peace Himself–Jesus Christ.
I am reaching the finish line of this semester of college, looking forward to Christmas break when I can have more free time to spend with the ones I love most. I also hope to catch up on a few hobbies that have taken a back seat to school (I have my priorities straight!). However, the hobby (dare I say, future profession?) I am most looking foward to pursuing is writing. If you read my previous post, I announced I would be completing my first novel by the end of November 2025. Unfortunately, that did not happen…
As I stated, school took up most of my time and I was unable to reach my word count goal for Jesus Writing Month (JWM). However, JWM helped reignite the passion for writing I thought I lost. It placed me in a community of believers in Christ who are as driven as I am to create stories for the glory of God. So despite not finishing my story yet (I will!), JWM was a major boost of confidence to my writing life. If you want to know more about JWM, go check out my previous post!
I promise this is leading to a climax. Cue drum roll… I will be participating in a 12 Days of Blogmas!! Ta-da! Starting on December 8th, I will be posting something here EVERY DAY (except weekends) leading up to Christmas!! I hope you will join me for this fun sprint in the snow towards the culmination of Advent–celebrating the birth of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have several ideas for what posts you’ll be gifted each day, but if you have something in mind you’d like me to write about, please comment on this post and I’ll do my best!
